The BIG Election

Alright folks, it is time to make some predictions about the election. Obviously, we know that Obama will win Mass. but will he win nationwide...? My guess is that he will win enough electoral votes, but may lose the popular vote. In the end, the race will turn out to be closer than the pundits are saying. One thing is for sure, history will be made no matter who wins.

Here in Mass. I would guess that Question One does not pass, but that too will be closer than the pundits think. Question Two and Three will both pass.

WHY?

Why must we accept this bailout of some of the largest financial institutions in the world? Let's be clear, perhaps we should be involved in some type of intervention, but where is the in depth answer to the fundamental question of "Why?" What is the absolute imperative that the federal government must intervene?

Quite frankly there have been very few answers. The general rationale that has been given is "We must do this or else." Or else what...? Something that is so important should come with an intricate and in-depth set of reasons as to "why" we must engage in the largest government intervention in the history of the world.
